ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Dipen Mehta – The founder, a maverick Engineer who does Qualitative research – AND is not afraid of technology! He has spent 25 years in Research and has worked in India, Middle East, North Africa and done projects in Asia and Europe as well. He has been at senior management level at ACNIELSEN, TNS and the top 4 agencies in the world have been his employers in the past.
Dipen Mehta’s most ‘strenuous’ stint he had was in Fiji (ahem) and he has spent about 20 years in the Middle East and is now based in UAE. Cultural understanding research is his forte and he has been involved in many large-scale cultural studies in the region.
He has presented a variety of papers at global Conferences on topics as diverse as Marketing in the Middle East, cross cultural understanding, the telecom sector and the use of technology in bringing presentations alive.
He has chaired the annual ESOMAR qualitative conference in Barcelona in 2005 and has previously been on the program committee.
